Managing Your EPD Privacy Settings

OK...here is the most-requested video topic I've had so far.  By default, the ARI web site does not allow anyone else to see any of the EPDs for any of your alpacas.  That is, by default, all of your EPDs for all of your alpacas are private.  ARI allows you to make the EPDs for all of some of your alpacas public, so that others can see the strong (and weak) points for your alpacas.

This video shows you how to do that.  It also shows you how to make the EPDs for any of your alpacas available to a selected audience.

I have been encouraging everyone to make the EPDs for all alpacas public, because it helps people compare and contrast the unique qualities of each alpaca, learn what has worked in the past and what has not, and it is also a great marketing tool to inform potential buyers of an objective measure of the strengths and weaknesses of your alpacas.

However, there may be special circumstances under which you might want to make all or some of your EPDs private.  The point of this video is, the ARI system gives you the flexibility to do whatever is right for you.
